Which AI visibility agencies work with cybersecurity companies?
Twenty of the 107 agencies in our AEO Agency Index publish a page for cybersecurity companies that offers AI search work. They run from content agencies such as Siege Media and First Page Sage to AI search specialists such as DerivateX and LLMReach, and to one independent consultant, Austin Heaton. Eleven publish a price. None publishes a rule against working for your direct competitor, which is the question a security vendor should ask first. 1 2
An AI visibility agency, also sold as AEO or GEO, works to get a company named and cited when someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Google's AI Overviews which vendor to choose.
How was this list built?
We started from the 107 agencies in the AEO Agency Index, each of which sells AI visibility work to B2B companies. We scanned every one's sitemap for addresses naming cybersecurity or security software, then read those pages in a browser that respected each site's robots rules. A page qualified if it sits in the agency's own services or industries section, is written for security companies, and names AI search work in its body. That means AEO, GEO, AI search, or getting named or cited by AI assistants. A mention in a site menu or a banner did not count. 2
Seven more cybersecurity pages were read and left out. Four were guides or articles, two sold SEO with AI search mentioned only in the menu or a banner, and one was a ranked list of agencies. Every listed page was read twice. Prices come from the index, where each was read twice on 3 November, and they are the lowest monthly figure on the agency's whole site, not a cybersecurity rate.

Which one suits which brief?
Grouped by what each page says it sells, the 20 fall into five kinds of firm. The labels are ours, and several agencies could sit in two groups.
- Content and SEO programmes with AI search inside them: Siege Media, First Page Sage, SimpleTiger, Ten Speed and Victorious. Siege Media's page names Huntress and Secureframe as clients. 21
- AI search specialists: DerivateX, LoudFace, LLMReach, Growtika, GrowPad, Growthner, Visibility Partners, BE VISIBLE, XQL Group and The Rank Collective. LoudFace's page names Hoxhunt. 18
- Earned media: AuthorityTech places stories in publications AI assistants cite, rather than writing your own pages. 9
- Wider go-to-market with AI search as one part: Lemniscate pairs AEO with executive content, events such as RSAC and channel partners, MV3 Marketing with account-based marketing and demand generation, and PipeRocket Digital with paid media. 16 19 20
- One senior person instead of a team: Austin Heaton works as an independent AEO consultant, and his page says scope is set on a 30-minute call. 8
What does a cybersecurity AI visibility agency cost?
Eleven of the 20 publish a price. The ten quoting US dollars start between $2,500 and $10,000 a month, with a median of $4,250, and XQL Group quotes €2,000 a month for its AI search service. That median sits above the $3,000 across all 60 US dollar prices in the index, though ten prices are too few to say security work costs more. Nine publish no price we could find, Siege Media and AuthorityTech among them. 1 27
The figures do not buy the same thing. Visibility Partners starts at $2,500 for advisory work and $5,500 when it supervises the work. DerivateX bills off-site placement budget on top of its $5,000, and Ten Speed's $10,000 is the typical range it gives on its own list. Ask what is included, what is billed on top, and the minimum term before comparing any two. 26 11 23
Will a cybersecurity agency also work for your competitor?
On the evidence of their own sites, nothing stops most of them. We searched each listed agency's cybersecurity page and every other page of its site we read, including the home, pricing, services, about and FAQ pages, for a rule about direct competitors. None of the 20 publishes one. Across the five industry lists we built this month, covering 33 agencies, two do: AY Rank takes one client per category per market, and MADX Digital offers one client per category on its Enterprise tier. Neither has a cybersecurity page. 4 5
For a specialist the conflict is built in. The security logos on its page are its proof of experience. They are also a list of companies it is already trying to get recommended, and two clients in one product category would be chasing the same answers. A capacity cap, such as a limit on clients per strategist, does not prevent that. Ask before you sign and put the answer in the contract. We looked at how few agencies publish this in AEO agencies that take only one client per category. 6
What should a security vendor check on an agency's page?
- Look for security clients you can call. A named logo carries more weight than a result with the company removed, and several of these pages show only anonymised results. Siege Media, LoudFace and PipeRocket Digital name security or identity companies on their pages. 21 18 20
- Ask for a dated method. LLMReach runs ten security buyer questions through ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity on its page and gives the date, 7 October 2026. DerivateX says it runs your CISO buyers' prompts across four assistants. Ask how many questions, how many runs of each, and what the result is compared against. 17 11
- Ask for results by assistant. In our study of how AI recommends security vendors, Reddit appeared in 51 percent of Google AI Overviews' recommendation answers and 1 percent of ChatGPT's, so a report that blends the assistants hides what to fix. 7
- Ask for citations and mentions as two numbers. In the same study, one company's website was cited in 199 answers while its name appeared in 9. 7
- Name your two closest rivals and ask whether either is a client, or could become one.
The study behind those figures is written up in how cybersecurity companies get recommended by AI models, and our wider comparison of ten agencies is in the best AI visibility agencies for B2B SaaS.
Where Salienz fits
We work only with B2B SaaS companies and take one client per product sub-niche. In security those sub-niches include compliance automation, SaaS security posture management, identity and access management, API security, vulnerability management and security awareness training, all listed on our cybersecurity page. The free AI visibility audit runs 15 buyer questions across five assistants. The paid audit is $800 for 100 questions, and retainers start at $5,499 a month. 3
