Which AI visibility agencies work with regtech companies?
Three of the 107 agencies in our AEO Agency Index publish a page for regtech or compliance software that offers AI search work: AuthorityTech, Austin Heaton and Lean Labs. That is the smallest field of the five industries we checked, against 30 for fintech and 20 for cybersecurity. Seven more agencies write about compliance, GRC or KYC software on their security or fintech pages, so the real choice is wider than three. 1 2
An AI visibility agency works to get a company named and cited when buyers ask AI assistants which vendor to use. For compliance software it also means getting the assistant to describe your coverage correctly.
How was this list built?
We scanned the sitemaps of all 107 agencies in the AEO Agency Index for addresses naming regtech, regulation, compliance, GRC or KYC. Then we read the pages in a browser that respected each site's robots rules. A page qualified if it sits in the agency's services or industries section, is written for companies that sell compliance or regulatory software, and names AI search work in its body. Every listed page was read twice. 2
Two pages were read and left out. One was written for regulated professional firms such as financial advisers and solicitors rather than for their software. The other was a blog post. MV3 Marketing's GRC page returned a regional block, so we did not read it. Lean Labs' page is for security and compliance companies, which we counted because it is built around compliance facts and trust centres.
The three agencies, and us
| Agency | From, per month | What its regtech page offers |
|---|---|---|
| Austin Heaton 6 | Not published | Independent AEO consultant for KYC and regtech vendors. |
| AuthorityTech 7 | Not published | Earned media aimed at AI citations for compliance technology. |
| Lean Labs 8 | $1,000 | AEO for security and compliance companies, on HubSpot. Per AEO module. |
| Salienz (us) | $5,499 | AI visibility for financial compliance and regulatory reporting software, one client per product sub-niche. 3-month minimum, audit included. |
The three are different purchases. AuthorityTech works through earned media in the publications AI assistants cite. Austin Heaton is an independent consultant and names Sumsub, a KYC company, as a client, though his fintech page says no KYC metric is published. Lean Labs sells AEO in modules on HubSpot, and its page is about making security posture and compliance facts clear enough that assistants repeat them. 7 6 8
Which other agencies write for compliance software?
Regtech overlaps with security and with fintech, so some agencies cover it on those pages instead. These seven name compliance, GRC or KYC software on a cybersecurity or fintech page that also offers AI search work. None has a regtech page of its own.
| Agency | Where | What the page names |
|---|---|---|
| DerivateX 11 | Cybersecurity page | Lists GRC among the security categories it works with, and a KYC buyer question on its fintech page. |
| Growthner 12 | Cybersecurity page | Names compliance software and compliance platforms among the products it works with. |
| Lemniscate 9 | Cybersecurity page | Writes for the GRC or compliance lead as a buyer. |
| LoudFace 10 | Cybersecurity page | Lists compliance and GRC, SOC 2 and ISO 27001, among the searches it targets. |
| MV3 Marketing 13 | Cybersecurity page | Names GRC vendors among its security audiences; its separate GRC page returned a regional block. |
| Omnius 14 | Fintech page | Names Sigma360, which sells KYC, AML and sanctions screening, as a client. |
| PipeRocket Digital 15 | Fintech page | Names HyperVerge, an identity and KYC company, in a case study. |
The full lists are in the best AI visibility agencies for cybersecurity and for fintech and finance software. If you sell KYC or AML software to banks, a fintech page may fit you better than a security one. 16
What should a regtech company ask an agency?
- Which rules and regions it has written about. A KYC buyer in one market asks about different regulations from one in another, and an answer that gets the jurisdiction wrong is worse than no answer.
- Who reviews claims before they are published. Compliance software is bought by people who check facts, so an agency should have a review step it can describe.
- How it checks what each assistant says about your certifications, coverage and customers, and how often.
- Whether it works for a competitor. None of the three regtech pages publishes a rule against it. Across the five industry lists we built this month, two agencies do, AY Rank and MADX Digital, and both appear on the fintech list. 4 5
How do the five industries compare?
We read the same 107 agencies for five industries with the same rule. The field is widest for fintech and narrowest for regtech, and the competitor rule is rare everywhere.
| Industry | Agencies with a page | Median entry price | Publish a price | Publish a competitor rule |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fintech and finance software | 30 | $3,750 | 20 | 2 |
| Cybersecurity | 20 | $4,250 | 11 | 0 |
| Legal tech | 6 | $3,500 | 3 | 0 |
| Recruiting software | 6 | $4,000 | 4 | 0 |
| Regtech | 3 | $1,000 (one price) | 1 | 0 |
